Chung Mong-Koo, the head of South Korea’s second-largest family conglomerate has lost $2.3 billion over the last year, a figure accounting for nearly a third of his previous $7.1 billion fortune when he ranked No.2 on our annual list of the wealthiest South Koreans last May.
